Quinton “Rampage” Jackson  rematches Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal

Jackson, a former UFC light heavyweight champion, has never tasted defeat inside the Bellator cage. Splitting his four victories with a pair of knockouts and decisions. Most recently taking a split decision over Satoshi Ishii, a former 2008 Olympic judo gold medalist for his country of Japan, at Bellator 157.

Meanwhile, ‘King Mo’ has gone 3-2 in his last five outings. Dropping a closely contested unanimous decision to current Bellator light heavyweight champion, Phil Davis, at Bellator 154. ‘King Mo’ bounced back with his own unanimous decision victory over Satoshi Ishii at Bellator 169. In December, Mo took on MMA legend Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ Filipovic, suffering a devastating second round TKO loss at Rizin 3: World Grand Prix 2016: 2nd round.

After years of back and forth trash talking between the two, they finally had their chance to silent one another. Having their grudge match back in 2014 at Bellator 120, with Jackson taking a unanimous decision over ‘King Mo’. Leaving both men unsatisfied with their performance. Jackson wanted the knockout, while ‘King Mo’ thought he should of got the decision. Now, three years later they will finally get to settle their differences, once again, this time at heavyweight.

Marcos Galvao takes on Emmanuel Sanchez in the co-main event.

The former Bellator bantamweight champion, Galvao, took a close split decision over L.C. Davis back at Bellator 166. Prior, Galvao lost a unanimous decision and his title to current Bellator bantamweight champion Eduardo Dantas. Galvao will now move up to featherweight to take on rising star and contender Emmanuel Sanchez.

Sanchez shedded the prospect label after capturing a majority decision over former WSOF featherweight champion, Georgi Karakhanyan at Bellator 170. Holding victories over former UFC standouts Justin Lawrence and Daniel Pineda. Adding a former champion to the list of wins, will only move Sanchez closer to the featherweight title.
